Grooves On the Move delivers to schools theatrical dance workshops ranging in length from a single 45- to 60-minute Introductory Session to an 8-week Performance Session. Depending on your school's interest and application, Grooves will conduct a Jazz Dance Workshop that is a scaled-down version of a Grooves' performance session. Students will be introduced to music and dance genres, and some background on what was going on in the world at the time these performance styles were popular. They'll dance as an ensemble and can perform for your student body and invited guests. Grooves can provide costume items (such as hats, boas, etc.), depending on your program selection, for an additional fee. Please refer to Grooves Jazz-a-Matazz Programs for more information.
Your school may choose any of Grooves On the Move's standard dance workshops, or Grooves can customize a workshop to supplement your Enrichment Program curriculum. How does Grooves On the Move meet enrichment criteria?
